Genny joined Harold A. Nord, OB-GYN, S.C. in June of 2007. She and her husband, Jim live in Heyworth, IL with their children. Genny received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Genny provides individualized care for women with varying health care needs. She places great importance on prevention, wellness, and patient education. She has an interest in care of women in the menopausal stage of life. She is a member of the North American Menopause Society. She is available for speaking engagements. Genny’s personal interests include reading and enjoying outdoor activities with her husband, daughter and son.
Abby: M.S.N., A.P.N., W.H.N.P.-B.C.
Abby joined Harold A. Nord, OB-GYN, S.C. in October 2015 as a Nurse Practitioner. She and her husband Daniel live in Bloomington with their children. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. She then went on to receive her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through the National Certification Corporation. She has a passion for health prevention and patient education. Abby enjoys spending time with her family, whether it be a game or movie night inside or campfires and enjoying the outdoors, with her husband, two sons and a daughter.
Rachel: M.S., A.P.N., F.N.P.-B.C.
Rachel joined Harold A. Nord, OB-GYN, S.C. in May of 2018 as a family nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millikin University and her Master of Science from Northern Illinois University. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2011 and brings over 12 years of various nursing experience to the office. She desires to participate with each patient to create a working plan toward health promotion and disease prevention utilizing patient involvement and education. She and her husband, Zach, reside in Bloomington with their four young children. Her free time is usually spent outside playing, watching a sporting event, inside with her family, or curled up with a good book.
